THE LEATHER
Ruffian is a full grain, smooth, waxy-finished veg retan from Chicago's Horween tannery. Similar to chromexcel, with more wax and more body, Ruffian is an excellent boot leather, with a classic look and feel. These boots are built on our new 56 last, which features more length and more room than our previous 55 last, while retaining a refined overall shape.
In terms of the color, Brown Ruffian is a beautiful and traditional darker brown, with good pull-up and plenty of character.
